Note: This is a Taxi-sharing assisting tool - this is not a reservation service for taxi rides.

Participants from various countries have registered to the MICRO-32 conference. Many are arriving to / departing from Israel on the same flights.

We would like to offer you the option of Taxi-pooling from the Ben-Gurion air-port to Haifa and back, using our novel Taxi-pool system.
The Taxi-Pool system enables you to view the list of people that arrive/depart with you on the same flight, along with their email & phone number, so you will be able to contact them and coordinate with them your taxi ride to Haifa. Of course, in order for this to work, you should provide your personal data consisting of your name, flight information and contact information.

You can use the system for either arrival or departure. If you wish to use it for both, you have to provide a separate record for arrival and departure.

If you have decided to use this option we suggest:

For arrival, agree on where to meet in the airport. A good option is near Avis or Hertz office in the arriving terminal beyond the custom control.
Taxi ride to/from Haifa can cost in the range of $70 to $90 (300-400 NIS) depending on time of day. You may withdraw money in local currency in the ATMs in the air-port.
Most Taxis are limited to 4 people.
All three recommended conference hotels are quite close - participants of different hotels can share rides (Taxi will stop at each hotel).

Again, this is not a reservation service for taxi rides, just a tool you can use for your convenience to plan your trip arrangements.
